Jane the Flower Girl has been playing about with our sketch this week, (she can never do as she is told that girl, always has to have a twist)
First of all Jane has turned the sketch on it’s side. The peel off is lovely, yes the leaves are a peel off! It is called Elegant Leaf Jane has used the gold, but it also comes in silver and black.
Jane has used Sakura gelly roll pens and water coloured the image. Then edged the the oval with some ink.
For the second oval Jane has used some Maple Leaves which are punch and emboss leaves, Jane has added axtra shading and veining to them, but they do emboss as you punch them.
The Happy Birthday peel off is another one of Jane’s designs from the Just to Say sheet.
I will forgive Jane it is such a lovely card, I am very impressed with the hand cut oval, I wish I could cut as neatly as that!

An unusual card and not a flower in sight! The water coloured leaf is lovely and the cluster of maple leaves look real with the shading and veining. I like the strips of washi tape too which give an elegant frame to the oval.
