Hello and welcome again to the annual Dreamweaver and Woodware Christmas in August extravaganza week! Monday through Saturday we will be knocking your Christmas stockings off with fun and inspirational ideas for the upcoming holidays. All that you need to do is hop back and forth across the “pond” on each day, oohing and aaahhhing as you go, and leaving us plenty of holiday love. In return, you’ll be entered to randomly win one prize package for a UK commenter, and a second prize package for a US commenter, featuring products distributed in the UK by Woodware…including Dreamweaver and Stampendous!
Prize includes four stencils, one die, and two stamps, selection may vary.
So today we have a card from Francoise, who has been tangling…
Francoise has used the Dreamweaver Holly and Swirls stencil Francoise has chosen it because of the open spaces that lend themselves so well to tangling in. Francoise has used various thicknesses of Sakura Micron pens the wallet is a wonderful selection if you want to get started on this relaxing occupation.
The smudged areas around the leaves really add to the dimension, Francoise has added some extra swirls and touches, you really can’t go wrong with this and the stencils are a good place to start, so that you don’t have a blank page.
The greeting is the Joyeux Noel stencil that we have been tempting you with this week, but it will be here very soon! Why have I shown you this tiny corner I here you ask. Well to show off one of the many wonderful things about stencils, it is so easy to just use parts of them and by using just the berries from the holly stencil Francoise has tied the two designs together!
Francoise has coloured 3mm clear elements with peel off pens to make them match the red tartan ribbon.
So clever and fresh and crisp, a wonderful card.
Now’s the time for you to leave a comment, and tell me which card is best, then move on to the next designer for today:
Thank you for visiting see you soon and happy hopping!
Gorgeous! I have yet to try Zetangleing (sp) but it is a spectacular look!

Beautiful card! I love the simplicity of the zentangling, it’s just the right amount to make it fun but not too busy! Love it! The little red dew drops set it off perfectly! I love the plaid ribbon! Nicely done!
