Crafty Cardmakers and Woodware – Shabby Chic or Distressed

Woodware is again sponsoring the challenge at Crafty Cardmakers

This week the theme is  Shabby Chic or distressed, so it should be a fun week, why not join in with us you can play along on the Crafty Cardmaker blog the challenge is open for two weeks.

First up is Kim who is also on the Crafty Card Makers Design Team.

Kim has used a lovely colour combination of brown and blue. The stamp is the Stampendous Butterfly Post Cling Rubber stamp.

and the Stampendous Butterfly Tune. Kim has stamped this on patterned paper for the background.

Kim has stamped and embossed in white and then added colour by sponging with Blue and Brown Colorbox Graphic 45 these die inks are beautiful colours that are perfect for the effect that Kim was creating.

Kim has also added extra colour to the background by stenciling with the Graphic 45 and a Dutch Doobadoo stencil. The leaves have been die cut from the Dreamweaver Leafy Branch die.

A beautiful card and a great start to our week, and of course you willl find more pictures and an extra card over on Kim’s blog.
