Today our card come from Gill as she wonders on her Crafty Journey
Gill has been for a walk in the sunshine and captured a lovely picture of some wild flowers. I love the way that Gill has the flowers flowing across the card, with the photograph in the middle. The Berry A4 recycled card is great for this, Gill has folded it in half and cut the aperture where it fitted in with the design and photograph best.
Then the punching can begin…
Gill has used the regular size Cherry punch and assorted leaf punches. They have all been attached with PVA Crafty Glue, using the PVA gives you time to get the positioning as you want it before you are stuck. Gill has used the Mark Richards 3mm metals in the centre of the flowers.
The butterfly is one of the Dutch Doobadoo Paper Art ones, these are die cuts with great detail, and are strong enough so that they can be easily coloured.
Gill has added a Woodware paper flower and another of the cure butterflies with the greeting. I really like the way that Gill has tied the elements together with the wiggly lines around the card and the greeting.
Gill has much more details and step by step over on her blog Gill’s Crafty Journey
