Vintage and Lace – Day 3

Jane the Flower Girl today with Vintage and Lace

Jane has used one of the two great MDF frames that Woodware stock and decorated it with all sorts of vintage goodies.

The frames come in 2 parts which makes them easy to decorate.

Jane has started by sanding and painting her frame with cream paint and then used papers from the Perfect Prints pads

Jane has used her Whimsical Flower – Sally Anne and coloured it with Sakura colouring pencils.

Jane has used Style Stones which she has stamped on and coloured, wooden buttons they come in a great packet of mixed sizes and are really easy to colour and decorate, pearls in various sizes, and the blank Antique finish pendants.

The words have been stamped on Shrink Plastic and shrunk they are from Jane’s Clear Magic set True Friend.

When you are happy with your design use strong PVA glue to join the back and front together.

Thanks for visiting see you soon!

  1. This is really gorgeous. Having seen it at “stitches” it inspired me to develop a workshop using the idea. I am delighted with both of mine. The frame is simple to put together and decorate, and there are just so many possibilities! Thanks Jane for the inspiration.
