Creating Embellishments – Day 5

Crafty Debs has come up with some very interesting embellishments first an oldie but a goody

Spirelli, well I had forgottn all about it, but it is great and using it with the great colours of twine that are available now takes it to a new level. Crafty Debs has used the Super Duper (purple) Scalloped Circle.

Crafty Debs has explained how she has done created it to get the gap in the centre that is perfect for the Big Size (yellow) circle punch which again if perfect for the Craft Work Cards In Circles Everyday Messages.

The shell scallop is worked differently and Crafty Debs explains all!

The background paper is from the Vintage 4 Perfect Prints Collection these pads are a must have for card makers and scrapbookers!

Now these flowers had me scratching my head, they are lovely flowers, but how are they made?

Well have you worked it out, or is it just me that had not seen them before? They have been made from Gingham Card Candi, which Crafty Debs has folded and planted into some silicone glue, Debs explains it much better than I have, then add a Candi in the middle to finish off the flower, very clever! I do love the Striped Organza Ribbon that Debs has used for her bow.

and yes it is Friday! but everybody at Woodware love their jobs so look forward to Monday when we get to come back to work!

The stamp is from a Clear Magic set of Jane’s called A Touch of Humour Debs has layered this on die cut scallops so that yshe could add Candi to it.

The background paper here is Dark Dots another of the Perfect Prints.

Thanks for visiting and please pop over to Crafty Debs to get full instructions, see you soon!

I am off to make a flower, now where did I put the silicone glue…..
