Chosen by Siobhan – Book Marks

This week we have a hello and a goodbye, (well for a while). Siobhan has chosen this weeks theme,  which is appropriate as we are saying a temporary good bye to her. Life has thrown up a busy year for Siobhan and her craft room is being packed up so no card making  for a bit.

Or hello is to Gill and her Crafty Journey. Gill is coming to us from the Dreamweaver Design Team, and so we are sure she will have lots to offer us.

Here is Gill’s book marks

I think that Gill’s book marks are very clever, and pretty. Gill has used her Woodware Trimmer and the scoring blade and the perforating blade. Gill has made a card that can be ripped apart as the are used.

Gill has stamped with Tuxedo Black Momento ink and coloured with Sakura pencils.

Gill has used a Micron pen to make tangles to hang the bird houses.

On the front of the card Gill has used the greeting from Jane’s Decorative Dove with Metallic f/x on it. The butterflies are Dutch Doobadoo Paper Art which Gill has finished off with Liquid Pearls.

Please pop over to Gill’s Crafty Journey for the full story of how Gill has made the card.

  2. Welcome to Gill, and think the idea of tear apart, perforated bookmarks is inspired. Very clever! A nice theme this week from Siobhan. Look forward to seeing her creations again in the future as they are always lovely.
