Woodware Challenge with Craftrange – Monochrome Christmas – Day 5

Our Monochrome card is from Pam the Pampered Stamper but first I would like to tell you about a tutorial that our Pam has on Paper Craft Planet this week, I plan to try it out at the weekend, it was a new idea to me and has so many possibilities.

Dreamweaver have a tutorial on Paper Craft Planet every Thursday as well as challenges on the Dream it up Blog

Now back to today and the card from Pam the Pampered Stamper

The stencil is Dreamweaver’s Line of Christmas Trees  which makes a nice long card. Pam has used Regular Embossing Paste to paste the trees, the tutorial on the Paper Craft Planet includes good photographs of the pasting technique.

Then while the paste is still wet sprinkle with glitter. Pam has used the Crystal Ultra Fine Glitter in every other tree and then gone back in with Silver Micro Glitter. Very simple to do you just have to remember to apply the glitter carefully one colour at a time from the top of the trees and to shake off to bottom of the card. This way you only get the glitter on the trees that you want glitter on.

The tops of the trees have been finished off with Mark Richards Elements and Pearls.

The greeting has been pressure embossed on mirror card. Remember you can put your metal stencils through your Sizzix or Big Shot.

Thank you for visiting us today, and thank you to Craftrange for this challenge, see you soon, for more about Craftrange you can find them here…
