Woodware Challenge – Alter it or Recycle it… Day 2

Today we have a alteration from Siobhan the Recovering Stampaholic. Siobhan has done something that I think we could all do repurpose something from our stash into something different, in my case because I have forgotten why I bought it in the first place!

Siobhan had a chipboard book that was just begging to be used, but not as a journal.

Siobhan has used one of her favourite stamps Crowscape a Stampendous cling rubber stamp. I love the way that Siobhan has used just part of the stamp. The layers work so well to frame the design.

Siobhan has a die that cuts the easel, but you could use one of the Woodware mini wooden easels to mount your calendar.

Siobhan has used gold embossing for the background leaves and to finish off the edges of the chipboard.

I think this is a lovely gift that would be easy to repeat with a stamp design to suite the recipient. Siobhan will have more details about the project.

Thank you for visiting us today, see you soon.

  1. That’s a great way to use a mini book page. If you use the woodware mini easel to display, you can adorn that too. I made a project using one where I inked the easel and glued bits of lovely stash to it to make it really pretty. Took the ink like a dream. The project is here if you want to see how fab these little easels are! http://scrappyjens.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/national-scrapbook-day-with-wear-crafts_4.html Happy scrapping, jenx
