Woodware Challenge – Alter it or Recycle it…

This week we are Altering things or recycling. I do like up-cycling better as I think it says so much more.

First this week we have Crafty Debs, who has used one of the Woodware  wooden clocks

The ring around the front of the clock is separate which makes it really easy to decorate.

The trees are  Kim’s Coppice stamps which were designed by Jane Gill. Debs has decorated them as autumn trees.  The Stickles in  Orange Peel & Lime Green add sparkle to the autumnal scene.

The words are perfect for a clock, we all spend so much time worrying about not having enough time!

The border around the frame of the clock is made up with the Stampendous Oak Border rubber stamp works so well on the frame, and I like the way that Debs has combined this with the green size oak leaf  punch.

Crafty Debs has done her colouring with Tombow pens and the stamping has all been done with the Versafine Vintage Sepia.

So this is our first project and this one is a wonderful use of a wonderful product. The clocks are some versatile and fun to decorate.

  1. I love your clock Debs – it has been decorated some beautifully. We have sold quite a few of the bare kits in our shop as they are such a brilliant price. Your finished clock is great inspiration to actually get them out of the package and start creating. Thank you.
