Woodware Challenge September 2013 Sketch 26 Day 5

Today we have Siobhan the Recovering Stampaholic with her take on the September sketch.

Siobhan has used the Dreamweaver Maple Branch stencil, First Siobhan has used the mat black embossing paste .

Leave the paste to dry and then add the mica powders either Pearl-ex or the Dreamweaver Metallic f/x. These mica powders are of a high quality and do not contain a binder unlike some of the other powders on the market. To add the powders put the stencil back on and then ink with a water mark pad this gives you something to hold the powders, no need to heat, just add with a brush.

The leaf has been die cut from a sheet of  Woodware Copper Metal Quilting, The metal will also punch easily.

To get matching pearls to finish off the card Siobhan has used a permanent marker. The Peel Off pens work really well for this.

Here is a quick reminder of the sketch for you, why not play along with us.

Thank you for visiting, pop over to The Recovering Stampaholic to see what Siobhan has to say about her sketch card.
