Woodware Challenge – What a Wonderful World! – Day 2

Today a truly wonderful card from Pam the Pampered Stamper for Japonica Jan’s challenge – What a Wonderful World!!!

This should really be a wall hanging and not a card, it would look great on the wall of my work room, hint hint….

Pam, I think has had a terrific time making it.

Pam has used the Dreamweaver Toucan stencil and coloured it with the Circus Splendor Pad, the Splendor pads are wonderful for using with a Stencil brush and a stencil, Pam has had Picasso the trusty colouring shield out too.

For the background Pam has used the Fern stencil.

Pam has stamped on the Mark Richards Fabric Squares, with the Stampendous Old World Map before stencilling the Toucan.

The wording is a Stampendous stamp  Wander Lust.

I like the way that Pam has added the wooden dowel and made the wording into a flag. The distressing and stamping have been done with the Clearsnap Mixed Media Inx.

The additions are a mix of Stampendous Frantage Elements mixing Color Fragments and Mica Fragments.

Thank you for visiting today I hope you are enjoying our Wonderful World Week chosen by Japonica Jan pop over and take a look at the Pampered Stamper blog and see what else Pam has been up to this week.

Just a note about the fabric squares, they are 6 inch squares and the edges have been sealed so they don’t fray unless you cut them and then fray them, I like this as you can choose.

  1. Loved the way you have used the fabric square Pam. I’ve been stamping on the squares too using Crafter’s ink and need to get some more colours. I love the card and can just imagine you working at it in you nice new studio. Jane xxx
