Woodware Challenge Punches on Parade – Day 3

Today we have a card from Jane the Flower Girl with lots of punches on it! Just how many well what do you think?

Jane’s description of this makes it sound so easy, and don’t get me wrong it is easy, especially when you are a punching expert like Jane!

So here is my explanation…

punch your circle and lots of daisies.

cut into the daisy to get individual petals, use the moulding mat and double ended etching tool to shape the petals. Inking the edges add dimension to the petals too.

The keep going until you have a wonderful flower like Jane’s! The centre of the flower is Chocolate Latte Flock

the punches that Jane has used are:

 super circle (blue)

super duper daisy (purple)

super birch leaf (blue)

jumbo daisy (green)

jumbo circle (green)

super duper tag (purple)

The tag has a wooden Ladybird on it, and the paper is from Magenta Go With the Flow

I hope that my photographs make it all clear. The card is A4 folded in half and to find out how Jane got the top pop over to the Flower Girl blog to see what she has to say about it all.

Thanks for visiting, see you soon!

Both the super duper and jumbo daisy shapes have been cup up so each petal is individual.

My finishing touches are Stampendous flock in chocolate lotto which has been stuck to the jumbo circle and placed in the centre of the flower and a little ladybug from Woodware. The ladybirds are sold in little boxes and there are loads of them (code EMB458).

  1. A beautiful sunflower (which just happens to be one of my favourite flowers!), this couldn’t help to put a smile on any recipients face. x
