Woodware Challenge – The Great Outdoors – Day 4

It is Jane the Flower Girls turn today and it is interesting that she has used  a stamp from the same set as I used earlier in the week, that is not that unusual except when you realise that it was from 2009, which just shows how timeless stamps can be.

Jane is well into Christmas since she has been doing her samples with her new stamps, I expect she is bored by it now, and she will have to start drawing for spring now! The stamp set is Scottish Wishes a Clear Magic set.

In the close up you can see  that Jane has stamped with a dye ink and not re-inked every time.  Just stamp the trees on top of each other and there you are, a very quick card. The variation in ink adds dimension to the images. Touches of frost have been created with stickles. The greeting is from the Christmas Sentiments, Clear Magic set also from 2009.

The punched snowflakes add the perfect finishing touch to the card.

Thank you for visiting today, why not pop over and see if Jane the Flower Girl has any extra tips for you today see you  soon.

  1. What a great card and lovely idea. Was really great meeting you last saturday at A Maze of Memories. You were so patient with someone who was being particularly thick that afternoon lol. Many thanks and cant wait for the next time.

  2. I love the way you have used just one small image from your scottish set and created the entire card with it. The repeated second generation stamping is very effective and the added stickles gives just the perfect amount of sparkle!
