The theme this week has been chosen by Jill from the Stampman in Skipton.
From this photograph you can’t really see the background and it is a very important for this theme.
So here it is and this is how I did it….
I have used the Dreamweaver Petals Background stencil and inked with a watermark pad
The ink just makes it wet and tacky.
Then add some powder I have used is the Dreamweaver Metallic F/X in Kiwi and in Nouveau Orange
I used a stencil brush to add the colours and then wiped off the excess with a cloth.
The words are a Francoise single stamp Many Thanks I have stamped them with the Clearsnap Watermark Pad and embossed them and the edge of the panel with Olive embossing powder.
The leaves are doublesided sticky shapes. Peel offs that are sticky on both sides! I have covered them with the same Metallic F/X powders
The ribbon is the 30mm Cream Organza which I have shrivelled with my heat tool. I added a strip of satin ribbon. the funny flower, I made by knotting the ribbon a few times and then attaching with Glossy Accents. I looks quite good on the card, I don’t think the photograph does it justice.
Why not have a look at Jill’s great card and tutorial over on the Stampman Blog.
Thank you for visiting today, see you soon!
I’m thinking I need some of the sticky shapes! Love that look with the mica powders!

I have never thought of using mica powders on the double sided sticky shapes but it looks very effective and almost as if they have been pasted or embossed. What a good idea. Love your background with the mica powders!
