Woodware Challenge – Sorry you are Blue..

With a theme of  ‘sorry you are blue’ I really was not sure what I would get from the design team, the never fail to surprise me I am sure you will be inspired by this weeks selection of cards.

Francoise is starting the week for us this week,

The stamps is one of Francoise’s range of Huge words this time it is Friends, we call these stamps Singles, but not only do you get the main image, great for paper piecing or Zentangling, but you also get an array of other words to finish off your card. Francoise has stamped and embossed with white powder which is a wonderful resist.

Here in the close up you can see that Francoise has used a clear glaze pen to Zentangle inside the letters. The background has been sprayed with the ColorBox dye ink sprays. I love the way that the pen allows the colour to show through in contrast to the embossed areas which are a really sharp white.

The Woodware paper flowers are a great finishing touch to any card and work really well here. Francoise has even sneaked in a touch of ribbon.

Thank you for visiting us today I hope that you like Francoise’s card and will check back to see the rest of the girls cards this week!

  1. Love it Francoise. The colours are fab and I must try some colour with my Zentangle. As Christina says it would brighten any friends day !!

    hugs Diane xx

  2. Love the resist technique with the glaze pen zentangled doodles. The sprayed background is so vibrant and I like the sprinkling of dark blue Bon Bons that Francoise has added for extra texture. This would certainy cheer a friend up!
