Woodware Challenge – Sketch 24 – June 2013 – Day 6

Siobhan our Recovering Stampaholic is last this week, even although she is off on a trip.

Siobhan has used the Stampendous Agapanthus Cluster rubber stamp, this is available as a cling or wood mounted rubber stamp.

I love the delicate vellum that Siobhan has used to create the background for the sketch.

Here is a close up of the background technique that Siobhan has used, This uses water on the stamp to lift the ink off, this is a very effective technique, I love when people can’t work out how you have done something and this is one of those techniques. Siobhan will have an explanation for you over on the Recovering Stampaholic blog.

This stamp is a classic, which is so versatile and so well used here on this card.

Thank you for visiting us this week I hope that you have enjoyed or cards this week.

See you soon.

  1. Love the contrast between the crispness of the stamped vellum and the softness of the water stamping. I also like the muted greens and blues for a sympathy card rather than the usual black or grey.
