Woodware Challenge – Colours of the Earth – Day 6

Jane the Flower Girl is last this week, but certainly not least

Jane has made a Tri-fold card from die cut shapes. For the main image Jane has used Going to Seed which she has stamped with a watermark pad and then embossed with an assortment of earth coloured powders.

The words come from the Inspirational Verses Clear Magic set. the swirls are from the Magenta Chipboard Mini Swirls.

Jane has made her own background paper. Using her own stamp Grasses Background. The stamp has been reversed, making it a solid stamp, with the use of a square black tip from the ColorBox Stylus Set.

The black tips are mouldable, simply heat for a few seconds and press into a textured surface to create your own personal stamp. This can be anything with texture, the tips come in assortment of shapes. When you have finished stamping re-heat and you can use it over and over again. The Kaleidacolor pad is a great way to get a variety of colours.

The square tip is great for pattern building as it is easy to see where you are stamping and repeat them in a pattern, but the other shapes are great too.

You can see here that Jane has used strips of matching card to join the shapes together. Then added plain die cut shapes to the backs of the card to hide the workings. The sections have all been edged with a gold Krylon Pen. The Krylon pens are wonderful for edging, the metallic colours are wonderfully rich and true.
