Woodware Challenge – White

Here we have a challenge that they are all grumping about! I am not surprised really it is rather difficult!

Yes the theme is white, but I really should have made it white with a pop of colour, so here we go with Siobhan the Recovering Stampaholic to start us off.

Siobhan has got her stencils out which are ideal for white work.

The main image is Dreamweaver’s Long Stem Iris which Siobhan has dry embossed on linen card. I think that Siobhan has used a machine to do her embossing. which is very fast and simple to do and also adds the edge of the stencil as a frame.

The words are another Dreamweaver stencil it is called Comfort Words and has various words and text styles on it.

Siobhan has stamped the vellum with the script from the Jumbo Songbird Stamp set. Of course it is finished off with some pearls and a touch of ribbon, to make a very elegant card indeed.

Why not pop over and see what Siobhan the Recovering Stampaholic  has to say about ther card. I have added a link at the bottom if you would like to play along with us, and don’t forget that the Crafty Cardmakers Challenge that we were playing along with last week is still open.

Thank you for visitng amnd happy crafting!

  1. Lovely card Siobhan, so clean and perfect for a sympathy card. The panels stand out against the vellum background as it has a hint of colour with the stamped text. Jane xxx
