Woodware Challenge – Tags and Bags or Boxes

We are sponsoring the challenge over on the Crafty Card Makers this week, so we thought we should just play along with their choice of topic (gives my brain a rest), so if you blog please use the link on the Crafty Card Maker’s blog to add your card and if you don’t if you e-mail your card to me and I will post it here and add it to the challenge, but check out the rules as we are playing by the Crafty Card Makers rules, good luck and thanks for playing.    Dorothy@woodware.co.uk

So today it is Siobhan our Recovering Stampaholic’s turn with a box and tag

Siobhan has done a lovely collection that I think would appeal to not either a man or a woman, but it is always good to have something suitable for a man, and this supplies lots of ideas!

All of the stamping comes from the Stampendous Paisley Cube which is not only available as a wooden cube but also as a set of four cling  rubber stamps.

Siobhan has made the tile from Aged Bronze Frantage  embossing powder and then rubbed some Mica Powder over the top to give it a 2 tonne shimmer. Remember if you are making tiles like this use a watermark pad to ink up your stamp before making the impression.

Siobhan has made the origami box from 2 contrasting scrap booking papers, you will find links on Siobhan’s blog to You Tube video instructions for making the box.

Siobhan has varied the stamps used from the set, she has also used them for the backgrounds on the card and the tag.

I love that it is all done from one stamp set and the pieces in the collection all looks so different and interesting, the embossed circles are wonderful too, and Siobhan has tied the pieces together by using the mixture of circles and squares.

Thank you for visiting, and don’t forget to check the Crafty Cardmakers  Blog
