Woodware Challenge – Vellum – Week 97 – Day 3

For day three of vellum we have a card from Siobhan the Recovering Stampaholic.

Siobhan has made a wedding card to share with us. I think that Siobhan’ vellum looks as if it had been bought like that, but that wouldn’t be good enough here would it?

Siobhan has stamped the vellum using the Stampendous Cling Rubber  Scroll Medallion with white Stazon. This is such an elegant looking background, the vellum adds a touch of luxury to the card.

The stamp is from Stampendous and is a Cling Rubber called the Happy Couple. Siobhan has used a few interesting techniques here which I am sure she will explain in full on her blog. First the dress, Siobhan has stamped this on a double sided adhesive sheet and then cut out and glittered with crystal glitter. Using the sheet adhesive gives a good all over coverage.

For the veil Siobhan has made a reverse mask and the stamped the Scrolled Medallion stamp through it with a watermark pad and then embossed it with  detail white powder.

No card from Siobhan would be complete with out a sprinkle of pearls and I love the way she has added them to the peel off’s too.

Thank you for visiting and please pop over to see what Siobhan has to say, and if she hasn’t explained reverse masking then come back and ask and I will do a step by step for you. You will also seem some wonderful tags from Siobhan and her Circle Group.

  1. This is a beautiful card, and the stamped vellum is so elegant. I love the way that Siobhan has “dressed” the brde! I have this stamp so might have to borrow this card idea. Thanks for the ideas and inspiration.
