Woodware Challenge – Week 95 – Around the World – Day 4

Crafty Debs is whisking us off to Africa today to go  on safari

Crafty Debs has evoked a safari sunset by using a mixture of the two Safari Peek Off’s , they are only available in black, but who would want anything else?

To get the colours Crafty Debs has used the direct to paper technique and  ColorBox Chalk Ink Queues in Pumpkin Patch and Rose Petals.  The queues are perfect for colour blending as the colours all work well together and for those that don’t like getting their fingers messy they work as a handle.

I love all of the foliage that Debs has added with the help of the Maidenhair Fern punch, and the Tiger Card Candi holding it all in place, I can just imagine the giraffe lifting his head for a nibble!

Crafty Debs has also used the Magenta Emotions paper Energy and the Crumpled Newsprint paper. I hope that Debs has explained how she has folded the card as I don’t have a clue, but would like to have a go.

I hope that you are enjoying traveling with us this week, see you soon.

  1. Very moody and atmospheric. I like the second card on Debs blog too. I think I will have to get those safari peel offs because the black looks great on the inked backgrounds and they will make great masculine cards.
