Woodware Challenge Week 92 – Sketch 21 – Day 6

Bringing up the rear this week we have Pam the Pampered Stamper, fresh from her trip to England and Ireland. Well I hope that she is feeling well, and not too tired out by it all, we did make her work hard while she was with us, in return we did let Pam go home with a bag of new stamps..

Which I hope you will agree Pam has been putting to good use.  Pam’s husband loves fishing, so she was of course drawn to these stamps by Jane Gill.  Pam has used cork on this card, one of my favourite surfaces to emboss on, it is surprising how well it works for embossing, it also punches well as you can see here.

The stamps are all by Jane the background is Gone Fishing and the fisherman is Casting the Bait. They have been stamped with Onyx Black Versafine, and ColorBox Pool Party. The colouring around the fisherman has been done with Dreamweaver Metallic F/X. The Metallic F/X powders are mica powders with a very strong pigment content so go a long way and give a very good result.

The powders are easy to apply with good quality stencil brushes on to  Watermark Ink.

I love the texture on this card and the colours, since the weather here has returned to winter, the hope of some sunshine that this card brings is wonderful.

Pam has a very interesting card on her blog this week, for Dreamweaver I am going to have a go at it this weekend I think.

Thank you for visiting, happy crafting and remember to share your creations.
