Today it is Jane the Flower Girl’s turn to show her take on February’s Sketch
Jane has used her Fern Stamp for this card.
Jane has stamped with a watermark pad and then embossed in white.
Jane has used textured card stock.
Jane the Flower Girl has used white Linen card, as she loves the texture. Then coloured over the top, once the embossing has cooled, which only takes a few seconds rub your ink pads over the embossed image. This works well with Chalk Cats Eyes or Pigment Cats Eyes. If you don’t want to use your inkpads directly on your card you can use the Clearsnap Stylus Tool and either an oval or round head use the white foam ones. I like to do it this way as I don’t get too much ink on at one time and the small heads of the tools gives you more control. Wipe off any extra ink and wipe over the embossing powder to make the white powder pop out.
The greeting stamp is one of Jane’s Clear Magic Sets Called Something to Say which is an assortment of useful verses. The flower has been coloured with the same ink pads as the rest of the card to match.
Jane has more tips over on her blog so pop over to the Flower Girl and see what she has to say. Thank you for visiting today, see you soon!
