It is Jane the Flower Girl’s turn today, and she told me this week she doesn’t do baby cards, so I think we had her scratching her head for ideas, as usual she has come up trumps! (someday I will manage to stump her)
So of course she has not only done a baby card but made her own template for it. Making the template is quite easy from a piece of A4 copy paper. Just make the depth of the sleeve the right size for your border punch to look good.
Jane has used the Big (yellow) Circle punch half way on the folded card to make the neck, and a larger scalloped punch to make the collar. Punch the scalloped circle cut this in half and then punch out the half circle and attach to the card.
Baby has been stamped with the Stampendous Storybook Alphabet and coloured with some Cotton Candy Stickles. Cut out the letters and mount them with foam pads. Two sizes of oval punches have been used to layer the words.
Jane has used the Tag Cassette for the Crafty Edger, remember to save the punched out pieces to decorate the border and word panel. Simple punch a strip and cut to fit the sleeves and the card front.
Finish off with a bow made from some wide organza ribbon.
