Woodware Challenge – Week 86 – Bubbles and Bubblegum Pink – Day 2

Here we are with day two of our pink bubbles, and today it is the turn of Siobhan the Recovering Stampaholic, and this is a wonderfully bubbly creation!

Siobhan has used the champagne glasses from Francoise’s Clear Magic set Wedding Bliss.

The tag has been edged with Shabby Pink  Frantage Embossing Powder, with lots of sparkle on the pink and fizzy drink.

The background bubbles are very clever, and have been made with a resist style technique. First blend pink inks over a blank white card and then ink a solid circle stamp with a watermark pad and then spritz the stamp with water and stamp on the card, this lifts some of the ink off the card.

Siobhan has finished off the corners with a mixture of pearls and glitter domes.

Thank you for visiting today to find out more about this card, pay the Recovering Stampaholic a visit, to see what Siobhan has to say.

  1. Such a lovely card, and would be great for weddings, anniversaries, engagements etc. The background technique is so subtle and clever, and I like the way the pearls and glitter domes reflect the bubble theme.
