Woodware Challenge Week 84 – Sketch 19

We have a  another sketch for you this week

First of the team to have a go this week is Jane the Flower Girl

Jane has stamped and embossed  in white one of the stamps from Daisy Dots and embossed with white onto white linen card.

Jane has used the direct to paper  technique to add colour, I love the way that the ink shows up the texture of the card. Jane has used the  Chocolate and Blueberry ColorBox Queue this is a Chalk stack of pads, the queues are great as the colours will all work together so the thinking has been done for you. Jane has applied the colour directly from the pad, one of the advantage of using the queues is that they act as a handle, which  helps to keep your fingers clean! You can also get a Cats Eye Adaptor attachment that fits into the bottom of the pad and creates a handle. Once you have added your ink give the card a wipe to clean off the excess ink and clean up the embossed image.   The flowers have then been coloured with Sakura Stardust pens to match ink pad colours.

The image has been frames with strips from the curly ribbons peel off’s in white, and a greeting added.

Remember that you have until the end of January to join in with us, either by using the link at the bottom of this post or e-mailing me a picture of you card or it could even be a scrapbook page:  dorothy@woodware.co.uk

Thank you for visiting us today.
