Woodware Challenge – Week 83 – Vintage Hearts and Love – Day 2

Jane the Flower Girl’s turn today to go all vintage on us.

This is a lovely card which is simple to make. It uses Jane’s Bubble Hearts peel off’s,

Jane has put the peel off on some acetate and then cut out the acetate. If you have problems with large peel off’s you can use the Magi Film to lift the peel off off the sheet. Magi Film is great for using up all the left over pieces on the peel off sheet. the heart has been decorated with Card Candi. use foam pads to attach the candi and use glue dots to attach the heart to the card, placing the glue dots behind the candi.

I love this interesting background that Jane has cleverly made by punching or cutting squares from Magenta 12 x 12 papers. Jane has edged the squares with brown ink.  Jane’s has used a gold Sakura pen to draw a wiggly square around her paper layer. The other hearts have been punched from the Funky Heart in 2 sizes the Large size and the Super sizes.

The card is 148 x 148 or 6 x 6 inches the finishing touches come from some of the self adhesive lace.

Pop over to see the Flower Girls blog and also check her workshop dates for 2013

Thank you for visiting today and a

VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR, FULL OF FUN AND CRAFTING!

  2. This card design would work well with lots of left over patterned papers and gems and made in a variety of different colourways. The heart peel off itself looks lovely with the added embellishments.
