Woodware Challenge – Week 81 – A Little Birdie Told Me……Day 5

Today we have a very special post from Christina of A Maze of Memories which is so cute!

The photograph was taken within an hour of Laila’s birth, but I am sure that Christina will tell you more about that, and has a second page to share over on her shop’s blog. The page is done on the 12 x 12 pearlised card.

The corners have been punched and layered with little flower corner punch.

Christina has repeated the corner punching on the photo mat.

The top border is the wonderful Francoise Tweet Birds  which Christina stamped and then paper pieced.

Christina has used alphabet Chippies to make up the name.

The lovely border at the bottom has been stamped with Francoise’s Baby Greetings set. She has even done some decoupage!

The journaling is on a small oval punched book and the bird from Francoise Sitting Pretty set

The journaling is wonderfully hidden in the oval book.

This project is wonderful from the card to the chippie to the ribbon and papers. The paper pricking and the corner punching! This is going to be the start of a wonderful scrap book charting the story of Laila’s life, if Great Aunt Christina has anything to do with it. I am off now to see the second page on Christina’s blog.

Thank you for visiting see you soon!
