Woodware Challenge Week 43 – Colours of Spring

Here we have Jane the Flower Girl’s Colours of Spring Card. Jane has used  her Clear Magic set Daffodils which is perfect for the colours of spring .     The set has nice wording as part of it not just the happy Easter that Jane has used but words that can be used all year.

The background papers are Magenta Noteworthy Trees and Sophia.

The daffodils have been coloured with Tombow pens and the leaves have had a touch of water to even them the colour out. The petals have had highlights added with the fine tip of the pen. The flowers have been cut out and mounted on foam pads. Jane has added Glossy Accents to the flowers.

Jane has added Mosaic Squares at the corners of the main panel which she has stitched. I love the buttons Jane has altered them with peel off pens adding the dots and stitches.

Thank you for playing along with us remember to play along with us you can add a link at the bottom of Sunday’s post.

  1. I like the torn mat, and added faux stitching. Adding pen work to the buttons is a good idea. This has a more “grunged” feel than Jane’s usual cards which is an alternative way of using the set.
